About the role
Oversee and manage the effective delivery of maintenance service contracts, agreements and services across RBWH campus and other assets within the RBWH BEMS portfolio. This position will be responsible for ensuring timely, quality delivery of services by contractors, suppliers and vendors at the best available cost while maintaining regulatory compliance and quality standards with minimal disruptions to hospital operations.

* Possess a strong understanding of maintenance service contracts, particularly in fire, mechanical fire interface servicing, passenger lifts, BMS, nurse call and Lamson servicing, pertaining to a health care environment and have an understanding of the applicable regulations, codes and standards. An extensive technical knowledge and experience in the management and maintenance of these maintenance service contracts is pertinent
* Proven ability to identify, create, manage and evaluate contracts is fundamental and understand the terms of a contract, make recommendations for changes or updates and negotiate terms when necessary
* Possess strong financial skills and be able to manage budgets and have experience in creating cost estimates, understanding cost components and identifying financial savings opportunities
* Proven ability to interact and communicate effectively both verbal and in writing with staff from all levels of various organisations and effectively communicate and work with contractors, suppliers and vendors to ensure that services are delivered compliantly and effectively
* Proven ability to monitor and evaluate a contractor's performance against contractual obligations and specifications
* Proven ability to analyse data, track metrics, generate reports and accurately document all contracts and deliverables including service delivery measures
* Excellent knowledge of or an ability to acquire knowledge of procedures, policies, regulations and standards which impact upon the position, in particular Public Sector Guidelines, and a knowledge of contemporary human resource management issues such as workplace health and safety, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination policies
* Advantaged experience in computer skills including S4Hana, Microsoft products
