ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a Permanent position on a 40-hour week, DIDOfrom our Worsley Alumina Refinery, which is a short drive from Collie (15 minutes), Bunbury (35 minutes) and other nearby scenic communities.
The purpose of Maintenance Coordinator is to provide technical expertise and oversee the maintenance activities of Electrical Department. They coordinate and level contracting resources for both capital and maintenance work. In addition, they ensure the optimal allocation of resources such that the required work at Worsley is completed in a coordinated manner and in compliance with the relevant safety and technical standards.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:
- Coordinate the safe and efficient execution of planned and unplanned electrical work by all electrical teams across the refinery and port.
- Manage and prioritise electrical resources for major and minor outages
- Actively contribute to forecasting and scheduling of maintenance activities and projects in the daily and week 2-10 planning horizon.
- Communication of plans & priority to ensure appropriate personnel are informed of the direction in maintaining a focus on safety, plant integrity, and maximizing plant availability
ABOUT YOU
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Several years' experience in electrical maintenance within the Mining/Refinery industry
- Knowledge of fixed plant equipment and the maintenance of it.
- Ability to provide technical knowledge and practical advice to support and coach employees
- Willingness to be flexible with work schedules and provide out of hours service to the business.
- High level of computer literacy and understanding of the existing SAP System
Qualifications for this position are:
- Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in engineering, Technical Diploma or Trade Certificate.
