Job Summary We are looking for a motivational Maintenance Fitter that ensures the maintenance of site assets, offering vital mechanical support to maintain safe, efficient production of high-quality products through proactive maintenance, focusing on responsiveness, Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), and task prioritisation. Role Responsibilities:Actively participates in the sites preventative maintenance system ensuring that all reporting is completed adequately.Ensures product quality is maintained by applying established quality assurance practices such as Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP) and by applying the sites operational procedures.Participates in ensuring that a high standard of cleanliness and housekeeping are maintained in the workshop.Operates in a manner that promotes and supports continuous improvement.Assists in the identification of own technical training needs and participates in training for ongoing developments and new systems.Participates in programs for training and raising awareness of operators as required.Assist in capital proposals and project work as required.Other reasonable duties as directed.Preventative/corrective maintenance and resolving breakdowns.Work collaboratively as a team to achieve goals and priorities.Troubleshooting and problem-solving with minimal disruption to production.Support Autonomous Maintenance teams.
