Maintenance Fitter Team Leader

We are looking for a Maintenance Team Leader with a mechanical trade background to lead the team at Baiada.  Baiada is a leading producer of cooked poultry dedicated to providing high-quality products to their customers while prioritising safety and excellence in every aspect of their operations. Key Responsibilities:Lead a team of employees to ensure efficient production processes

Identify plant failures or shortages and communicate deficiencies to supervisory staff

Set a positive example while you establish and manage effective working relationships within the team

Contribute to the development of a team-based learning environment

Receive instructions and allocate work to the team

Maintain high safety standards within the team

Ensure adherence to high standards of food safety and welfare

Acquire and analyse workplace information for continuous improvement

Communicate regularly with team and department managers

Serve as a trained fire warden and uphold fire safety protocols
