Job Overview:
As the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations to ensure the efficient and reliable functioning of facilities. This role involves managing a team of 20 skilled technicians, implementing preventive maintenance programs, and addressing issues to minimize downtime and optimize production.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of electrical maintenance technicians.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the team's effectiveness.
- Foster a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
Maintenance Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for electrical systems and equipment.
- Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize production downtime.
- Troubleshoot and address electrical issues promptly to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
Equipment Upkeep:
- Oversee the inspection, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize equipment performance and reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the electrical maintenance budget.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement efficiency measures.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards, codes, and regulations.
- Implement and promote safety protocols to create a secure working environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Minimum of 5 years experience working in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
