AddressThis role is responsible for the overall operation and success of the Maintenance team for a leading FMCG business. The position will oversee preventative maintenance and process improvement strategies as well as leading a multi-skilled trades team on day-to-day site maintenance activities.
The Accountabilities
- Accurately monitor & encourage behaviour that recognises the importance of safety, quality & excellence in all aspects of work and drives continuous improvement culture.
- Maintain equipment, buildings, and services to the relevant legislative requirements.
- Improve product capacity and quality by ensuring equipment is maintained to current GMP standards and improvement opportunities are identified.
- Manage the communication of projects, improvements, maintenance across the wider team.
- Maximise equipment & building services, execute preventative maintenance plan.
What we are looking for:
- Relevant Trade or Engineering Qualification
- Strong operational & manufacturing leadership experience (FMCG advantageous) with experience in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), 5s, LEAN, 6 sigma tools and concepts, safety & GMP standards
- Decision making and strategic capability without supervision
- Ability to solve complex problems
- Work independently and autonomously
- Professional technical leadership in mechanical and electrical areas
- Strong reliability focus
