The Role
Reporting to the Area Maintenance Supervisor, an exciting opportunity has risen for a Maintenance Officer at our Retirement Living facility at Cootamundra and Temora. This is a part time role working two days per week. One day will be at our Temora facility and the other at our Cootamundra facility. Base site will be one of the locations and candidate will be reimbursed for your travel to second site from base site.
The successful candidate will ensure that all tasks are undertaken to support service delivery outcomes including the maintenance of the property and land-based assets, plant, and equipment.
- You will be responsible in providing basic general maintenance repairs (electrical & plumbing, carpentry and building)
- You will also be providing gardening maintenance tasks (sweeping, hosing, keeping the outside of buildings clean and tidy, mowing lawns, hedging and general garden maintenance)
- Will communicate effectively with residents, staff, and families, being empathetic and understanding of the needs of aged residents
