About the Role: As a Maintenance Planner, you will be at the heart of ensuring the seamless operation of our manufacturing site located in Ipswich. Your role is pivotal in creating and maintaining the planned maintenance schedule, aligning with production and operational requirements. You'll have the opportunity to drive improvements in equipment maintenance strategies, support the development of our CMMS system, and foster a culture of safety and compliance within the maintenance function.
Responsibilities of the Role:
- Coordinate and plan maintenance and improvement initiatives, including parts, resources, and documentation.
- Schedule and plan maintenance work in alignment with production priorities and statutory requirements to meet performance KPIs and production targets.
- Lead site shutdown and outage planning processes, ensuring adherence to extended maintenance planning protocols.
- Improve workforce productivity by developing maintenance schedules based on priority, resource availability, and parts inventory.
- Identify critical parts, recommend stores stock holding strategies, and ensure adherence to job pack processes.
- Create and maintain maintenance KPIs and reports to communicate system performance and improvement opportunities.
- Champion WHS standards for all maintenance tasks, including permit to work and contractor management.
- Facilitate maintenance meeting cycles and mentor production and engineering teams in work management processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, contributing to the achievement of business outcomes.
- Mechanical or Electrical trade qualification and/or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years trade experience.
- Demonstrated experience in planning and scheduling, with a solid understanding of reliability principles.
- Ability to prioritize and coordinate multidiscipline work schedules effectively.
- Strong commitment to engineering compliance and safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- 3+ years of experience in beverage manufacturing.
- Strong ability to analyze performance and maintenance metrics to recommend improvements to the maintenance strategy.
- Learning agility and willingness to share knowledge with others.
- Proficiency with SAP-EAM system.
