Job description
This position reports to the Forensic and Scientific Services Campus Maintenance Manager and ensures the effective planning and scheduling of statutory, preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance to guarantee continuity of essential services to the Coopers Plains campus.
The position also ensures the accurate input of asset data, maintenance task specifications and their management within Queensland Health’s SAP Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
The successful candidate will manage Forensic and Scientific Services (FSS) asset, plant and scientific equipment maintenance requirements and translate into recommended and prioritised maintenance schedules and programs to achieve compliance with Department of Health (DoH) asset management strategies and industry best practice.

You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:
Ensure all work requests are scheduled, investigated, planned, executed and completed within the SAP CMMS Software module.
Ability to optimise asset maintenance strategies and review, analyse and amend master data for alignment with the ISO 55000 Asset Management Standard.
Broad knowledge of Statutory Acts, Legislation, Regulations and Standards applicable to the facilities asset management environment within Queensland.
Provide data, high level analysis, and advice on maintenance performance and adherence to KPIs for completion times
Be aware of equipment reliability status at all times.
Knowledge on the time, resources and information required for each task.
Demonstrated ability to provide detailed Scope of works to suppliers.
Coordinate equipment downtime and assist with the development of annual overhaul/shutdown schedules.
Well-developed analytical skills that enable identification and resolution of issues including opportunities for improvement.
Perform failure analysis when equipment fails unexpectedly.
Qualifications, registrations and other requirements
Mandatory – possess and maintain a C class Drivers Licence.
There are no specific qualifications required for this position; however previous trade experience or previous maintenance planning / scheduling experience is highly desirable.
Demonstrated advanced use in CMMS computer software packages such as SAP S4 HANA is highly desirable.
Building Maintenance Services and Asset Master Data experience is desirable.
