The Maintenance Planner is a technical specialist accountable for developing Job Plans which include job requirements on HV/LV outages, Materials required, mobile plant, specialised equipment, number of resources, minimum skill level, work hours per skill level & job duration. The role is responsible for optimisation of the program by activity planning & coordination with other maintenance and construction programs. The Maintenance Planner is also accountable for the accuracy of Job Plan estimates. The role sits within the Maintenance group who is responsible for maintaining Transgrid's assets and delivering an efficient and predictive program of works. About you Possession of an appropriate qualification in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent experience: Electrical Trades Certificate III or equivalent and/or Diploma level or equivalent or relevant formal technician training qualifications Extensive practical experience in maintaining substation assets such as Transformers, Circuit Breakers, Instrument Transformers and DC Supply systems and other associated functions relevant to this position description Authorised under TransGrid’s Power System Safety Rules Knowledge in the application of WHS and environmental legislation relative to duties of the position Knowledge of corporate drawings, design and management systems Extensive experience in ERP systems and works management Knowledge and understanding of TransGrid’s Mobile Plant Framework Competent in use of all Microsoft products including excel to perform data analytics and…
