We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to join our team at our Ballarat Prepared Foods site. You will be working as part of the Maintenance team, providing support to ensure optimal plant performance.
About the Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for prioritising, making detailed preparations for and organising required work to be completed in their area of responsibility to enable successful and efficient execution of the work on time and on budget.
This includes the following:
- Review and manage notification and work order backlog
- Convert notifications to work orders, prioritise, identify resources required and create detailed work packages
- Identify and assign required materials (parts) and resources (equipment, special tools, contractors, team members, permits, etc..) required to complete the tasks
- Review and act on feedback from completed work packages and ensure TECO is completed in full
About You
We are looking for an individual who will have a:
- Verifiable experience in FMCG Operational Maintenance and/or Maintenance Planning with relevant qualifications and a minimum of three years’ industry experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of CMMS, SAP, Project Management Methodologies, Utility Management and Safety/ Quality/Environmental Management Systems.
- Demonstrated ability to understand (and when required create / update) documentation in any of the above-mentioned systems.
- Demonstrated ability as a project manager and a team player with good organisational, people and communication skills (across multiple departments and all levels of personnel).
- Demonstrated ability to work on a variety of unconnected projects with a result focus orientation, a logical thinker, and good problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to set and follow through with expectations and commitments.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Statistical Process Control, lean principles and/or Six Sigma methodology.
