We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Maintenance Planner to join our growing team on this next stage of the Sydney Metro.
Job Purpose
The Maintenance Planner will support the project team in the development and validation of maintenance strategies through the collection and assessment of asset condition data through our Asset Management System.
The Maintenance Planner will develop & maintain procedures to ensure a consistent and sustainable approach to asset information management across the Infrastructure and Assets business.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance of works scheduling to reflect the obligations under the current contract,
- Assist in development, review and execution of Asset management documentation and processes,
- Assist in the development of training and support to all users of the Asset Management Information System.
- Use the Asset Management Information System to Generate, Schedule, Distribute, Close out and follow up on maintenance work.
- Create Work Orders in a timely manner
- Schedule maintenance work in accordance with available resources & requirements of O&M agreements & SWTC,
- Follow up on defects highlighted and enlist the Maintenance Management team to rectify
Qualifications/Experience
- Tertiary Engineering qualifications within the Electrical or Mechanical disciplines with experience within the transport Rail or Roads sector,
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a large engineering or maintenance project environment
- Knowledge of Asset Management Systems SAP and/or Ellipse.
- Demonstrated experience in application of compliance standards and physical maintenance processes across multiple engineering disciplines e.g., mechanical, electrical, HVAC, hydraulic services.
- An understanding of preventative maintenance, asset condition surveys and associated data management systems
