Maintenance Scheduler

We at Chandler Macleod are seeking a Maintenance Scheduler. This position is integral to the Maintenance and Planning Team and is responsible for driving the efficient execution of maintenance work and utilisation of trade groups. This will be delivered through scoped maintenance work plans, materials, schedules, resource data and accurate system data. The position is continuous improvement focused and based in team-oriented environment, driven by systems, processes and discipline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all aspects of scheduled maintenance works, which include site maintenance with a primary focus on shutdowns.
• All administrative related tasks to planning and scheduling of works.
• Coordinate personnel, contracted labour, and equipment for maintenance timelines for scheduled works
• Ensure the correct personnel has been assigned for each job.
• Ensure daily, weekly, monthly, and annual tasks are completed in required time frame.
• Ensure policies and procedures relating to required area inductions, licencing, training and fatigue management are met.
• Monitor, evaluate and report on scheduled maintenance teams performance via regular liaison and feedback to stakeholders, including the Maintenance Manager and Contractor Managers concerning scheduling related matters

Required Skills/Experience:

• A trade qualification in a relevant Mechanical field is an advantage but not essential.
• Relevant industry experience in a fixed plant environment.
• Previous SAP experience is an advantage.
• Ability to undertake effective problem solving.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and deliver information with a high level of accuracy.
• Weekend work may be required from time to time.
