NCAMS are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Scheduler to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in our mission to enhance remote communities' infrastructure. As a Maintenance Scheduler you will be responsible for reading plans, determining materials, and creating comprehensive scopes of work and bills of quantities for trades operating in remote communities, with the possibility of traveling to these communities
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Scheduler to join our team.
In this role, you will play a critical part in our mission to enhance remote communities' infrastructure.
As a Maintenance Scheduler, you will be responsible for reading plans, determining materials, and creating comprehensive scopes of work and bills of quantities for trades operating in remote communities.

What a typical day looks like…
- Read and interpret project plans and specifications.
- Analyse project requirements and calculate quantities of materials needed off photographs.
- Prepare detailed scopes of work for various construction trades.
- Create accurate bills of quantities for invoicing or raising variations.
- Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure accurate documentation.
- Review and update project documentation, as necessary.
- Maintaining records of project changes and revisions.
About You
You would be perfect for the role if you have a strong eye for detail.
- Maintenance Support Desk or Insurance Claims Desk (or equivalent experience) or working towards achieving.
- Proven experience in reading and interpreting construction plans.
- Good knowledge of construction materials and methods.
- Good analytical and mathematical skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work within KPI parameters.
- Prior experience in Insurance Supervisor/Assessor Claim would be a bonus.
You will also have:
- Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
- Highly efficient data entry skills and typing accuracy
- Effective communication skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office programs and IOS is beneficial, but not essential
