About the role:
As part of the Scouts SA Camps & Adventure Parks team, this role is based at Roonka River Adventure Park in the Riverland – just outside of Blanchetown – working Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
You will be responsible for the exemplary presentation of the site’s grounds, activities and buildings, coupled with the general upkeep of the site’s facilities and plant equipment.
A customer focused outlook is key to the position’s success, delivering a beautifully presented site combined with a strong focus of WHS practices and principals making for the best experience for all who visit.
Duties include:
- Pest control,
- Lawn care,
- Irrigation operation,
- Rubbish removal,
- General building maintenance
- Customer-facing guest services
About you:
- The physical ability to use heavy equipment and move around the site
- Practical and fine motor skills
- Out-of-the box thinking to contribute to new processes and site improvements
- Organisational skills and the ability to multi-task
- The ability to work independently and un-supervised
Essential:
- National Police Clearance
- DCSI Working with Children Check
- Current and unrestricted Drivers Licence
Desirable:
- First Aid
- RAN Certificate (Responding to Abuse and Neglect)
