Golding is in search of a skilled Maintenance Superintendent to become an integral part of our team at the Jellinbah Mining project, situated near Blackwater. In this role, you will be crucial to our project leadership, responsible for efficiently managing and supervising maintenance operations with expert proficiency.
Operating on a DIDO 7/7 Dayshift Only Roster with inclusive camp accommodation and meals, you will be at the forefront of leading our maintenance strategies.
The ideal candidate will preferably possess demonstrated experience in managing mobile maintenance, including maintenance planning activities, within a mining operation. This experience should reflect successful achievement of targets in safety, environmental sustainability, personnel management, minimizing fleet downtime, and meeting commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Authorize and oversee maintenance personnel on-site to ensure the execution of safe and efficient maintenance activities.
- Implement, monitor, and manage Golding's plant maintenance management systems effectively within the project.
- Develop suggestions for enhancing Golding's management systems, particularly aimed at reducing fleet costs and downtime.
- Collaborate with Mine Planning and Operations teams to provide specialized input for optimizing the production planning process and maximizing fleet uptime.
- Create and maintain rolling maintenance plans that support both maintenance and production needs, aligning with fleet maintenance strategies effectively.
- Formulate life-of-project maintenance plans for all equipment on-site to enhance availability and minimize costs
- Prepare and deliver work packs required for maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to Golding systems and OEM specifications for safety and efficiency
- Establish, monitor, and manage maintenance resources efficiently, including inventory and consumables for the project.
- Lead incident investigations within your jurisdiction, ensuring they meet acceptable standards with logical analysis, conclusions, and actionable recommendations.
Key capability requirements:
- Experience in Australian open cut mining operations is highly desirable.
- Trade qualifications in a related field or Mechanical Engineering are essential.
- Demonstrated SAP experience is desirable along with experience in Microsoft Office.
- Capability to conduct detailed analysis of maintenance, safety, financial, and other performance areas and implement necessary changes
- Ability to work as an effective leader to drive high-performance outcomes
