Our client, a major food processing and value-adding company, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join their large and well-established facility in Dandenong South. Key Responsibilities:
As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day repair and maintenance functions at the production site. Your responsibilities include managing the Day shift from 7am-3pm Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend overtime available. Your team of trades staff will handle breakdown repairs, preventative maintenance programs, and workshop initiatives under your supervision.
What You Thrive In:
- Fault finding, root cause analysis, and establishing preventative maintenance programs are integral to your problem-solving approach.
- Supervising maintenance tasks related to hydraulics, chains, and pulley systems to ensure uninterrupted production lines.
- Effective time management and resource allocation to optimize maintenance activities across all shifts.
What you need:
- Trade qualifications and previous experience in a food export manufacturing facility make you an ideal candidate for this role.
- Demonstrated proficiency in overseeing and executing maintenance schedules, ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment across all shifts.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
- Strong leadership skills to effectively manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
