Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the primary purpose of the role is to execute the weekly maintenance schedule for the area and manage any urgent work. It will also involve taking accountability for the performance and behaviour of the team, actively drive fundamental EHS elements such PPE compliance, Hazard ID and Risk Assessment, and influence a preventative, proactive and reliability-based maintenance culture. These objectives are achieved through people by effective task assignment and resource management and developing a team culture where work quality and preventing breakdowns is paramount.

- Collaborative relationship building and negotiation skills in order to engage others to inspire, influence and motivate team members across site
- Provide day-to-day leadership, expertise and direction to achieve objectives and deliver quality results
- Superior planning and organising skills with the ability to establish work priorities to maximise results
- Mentor, coach and develop teams by implementing individual performance plans, reward, recognition & discipline
- Actively drive a preventative, proactive and reliability based maintenance culture
- SAP experience
- Experience managing budgets or ability to learn
- Commitment to WHS principles and systems
- Trade certificate or tertiary qualification and experience in a maintenance environment
- Proven leadership experience in a similar role
