The Role Reporting to the Supervisor Landfill Operations, this role is based at Hawkesbury’s Waste Management Facility. The position requires the operation of heavy plant, including Landfill Compactors, Excavators, Track Loaders, Water Trucks and other plant; along with field work associated with the landfilling operations, such as litter control, yard maintenance, and customer service. Essential Criteria Appropriate licences for the operation of heavy plant, including a current class MR Licence, LL (Loader Ticket), LE (Excavator), LF (Forklift) and White Card Previous experience operating plant equipment or heavy machinery Previous experience in land filling, earthmoving operations or similar activities Physical fitness to undertake a range of operational tasks Demonstrated ability to work in a safe manner and to follow WHS guidelines Able to work on a 4 week rotating roster including weekends The Benefits An attractive salary will be negotiated with the successful applicant commensurate with qualification, skills and experience.
