About the role
An incredible opportunity awaits you to join our Capital Projects Delivery Team as the Major Projects Manager. As a leader, you will be at the forefront of leading the Major Projects Team and play a pivotal role in delivering the annual capital works program, with a focus on achieving time, financial and program completion objectives. About You
With extensive experience in supervising people and managing programs and projects, you will display a honed set of negotiation and communication skills across a diverse range of clients and stakeholders. Showcasing your expertise in civil, landscape, and building construction, you can effectively interpret engineering and technical designs and display strong negotiation and advocacy in people management. Additionally, your excellent report writing, budgeting, financial, and problem-solving skills make you an asset to any project or team!
The successful candidate will:
- Hold a recognised degree qualification in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Construction Management, or other related discipline.
- Have excellent communication, negotiation, advocacy, and people management skills.
- Hold a class “C” Drivers Licence.
Although not essential, it is preferable that applicants have Local Government Experience.
What’s on offer
We are offering an attractive remuneration from $149,428 to $165,645plus 11.5% superannuation. This position is also eligible to receive the 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance.
