Your New Role
As Management Accountant, you'll report directly to the group financial controller and provide monthly reporting, variance analysis, finance business partnering and support to the wider accounts team. Working in a MYOB ERP environment, you'll also assist with implementation of a new accounting system over the next 3+ months. You be counted on to deliver monthly management accounts with value added commentary and financial analysis to drive business improvement, cost reductions, and margin improvements. You will also be able to identify improvements in automation of processes, inventory movements, and operational issues that arise during your engagement.
Your Profile
You are an established management accounting professional with previous MYOB experience so you can be effective from day 1. You are passionate about producing superb reporting - on time, accurate, and with your comments on what happened and why. You also are a passionate budget builder, given the time of year, and engage well across the business - including non-financial types in operations. Ideally you can start on short notice, are interested in both the short and long term opportunity on offer, and importantly you are able to or prefer to work from an office environment full time. There is definitely flexibility of early or late starts & finishes (6:30am - 3:30pm, or even 9:00-5:30pm and anything in between).
