Based in the Western Suburbs of Sydney, Custom Denning is currently on a very exciting journey when it comes to pioneering the way for locally manufactured electric vehicles in Australia. We are currently working very closely with the NSW government to support government infrastructure plans of transitioning NSW buses from diesel to an electric fleet by 2035.This initiative is a key ingredient towards contributing to a cleaner future of transport through zero emission vehicles. Career opportunities will be available for high performers as the business evolves.Job responsibilitiesAssisting the Financial Controller with all management accounting tasks.Management of month end, and year end reporting.Management of a budgeting and variance analysis process.Conducting inventory analysis and prepare reports.Conducting financial analysis and provide recommendations.Overseeing payroll function.Overseeing trade and asset finance loan books and submitting bank covenant documents. Overseeing invoicing process.Overseeing AP payment approval process.Managing cash flow and processing local and international payments. Managing Excel models including 5-year budget, cash flow forecast, loan schedules and payroll schedules.Assisting with ERP and system implementations.Mentoring and supporting the accounts team. Liaising with different key stakeholders of the business.Other ad-hoc tasks as required.QualificationsDegree in accounting/financeCompleted CA / CPA / CIMASkills5+ years experience within a similar job.Previous work in manufacturing and strong understanding WIP is preferred.Strong technical knowledge in management accounting principles.Microsoft Dynamics Business Central/Navision, MYOB Advanced & E Payday knowledge advantageous.Advanced knowledge in MS Excel.Basic know-how in SQL & VBA coding highly valued.Fluency in other Office 365 Apps including Word, Outlook & SharePoint.Self-motivated, ability to prioritise and high attention to detail.To succeed in this role, you will be agile to change and have strong problem solving, organisational, and listening skills.
