Description TASKS Provide support and assistance to the Team Leader Management Accounting concerning all technical aspects associated with the running of the Management Accounting Team.

Liaise with all teams in the Finance Unit to ensure the Council's provided with an efficient and effective financial framework. Assist the Finance Unit to comply with all relevant accounting standards, Local Government Code of Accounting Practice, and the Local Government Act and associated regulations. Assist the Team Leader Management Accounting in communicating the financial objectives of the Council to all Corporate & Business Units.

Liaise with Managers to develop, prepare, monitor and control Council Budgets. Evaluate budget proposals and proposed business cases. Assist in budget reviews, analyse and project trends for reporting to Management and Council.
