The Role
Reporting into the Senior Finance Manager for Business Planning, Forecasting and Reporting, the Senior Consultant, Management Reporting (FP&A) will see you responsible for the consolidation of financial information and data to report on key financial metrics and business drivers that will impact profitability outcomes to the MLC Life Insurance Leadership Team.
Your role includes but is not limited to coordinating and contributing financial input, creation, and production of critical reports such as the CEO reports to our Board, monthly flash report, monthly management results (profit, capital, value), quarterly forecasting, quarterly business review and other ad-hoc reporting requirements. You will also be supporting the production of weekly distribution reporting with insights on sales and other lead sales indicators for the wider business.
About you
You possess a minimum of 4+ years of Management Reporting or financial planning and analysis and/or business forecasting experience in a similar capacity within the insurance sector ideally.
As a CA/CPA with prior experience in the Insurance sector, you possess the understanding and nuances of the lifecycle of the business, providing you with the knowledge of working together with our actuarial teams to derive data and numbers from various sources.
With strong financial and commercial acumen, your ability to develop reporting and dashboards for various group of stakeholders will enable you to produce meaningful insights for our Executive Leadership team that will influence and drive key decision making processes.
Lastly, you possess a continuous improvement mindset and have an eye for process improvements to increase efficiency and the quality of your output.
