Form of workThis is a unique opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to join an industry leading international agricultural bloodstock group.
The Management Accountant will partner with the business to provide financial analysis and assistance with financial & management accounting and reporting. This role will work closely with both the Finance Controller and Chief Financial Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide financial analysis and support to managers within the business
- Analyse key financial data and provide insights to support business planning and decision making
- Prepare monthly management accounts and analysis of results against budget
- Ensure monthly management reports are accurately produced and issued on time
- Assist with preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Assist with preparation and review of FBT, BAS and income tax returns
- Assist with the provision of information to external auditors
- Strive for continuous improvement of internal controls and streamlining of systems and processes
Skills & Experience:
- Hands-on, down to earth, Team player
- CA/CPA qualified with at least 3 years’ experience
- Experience in management accounting preferred
- Highly motivated individual who can work without direct supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent systems skills - experience with Sage 300 would be viewed favourably
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office Applications
