This newly created Management Accountant role offers candidates the opportunity to work with a well-known and highly regarded Global Business based in Melbourne's South East.
The Role
As the Management Accountant you will be reporting to the Finance Manager and your responsibilities will include:
Your duties will include:
- Prepare monthly reporting packs and associated reports for assigned business entities
- Perform balance sheet accounts reconciliations and analyses after finalising end of month (all relevant entities)
- Maintain fixed asset registers
- Present monthly results to the wider Group
- Preparation of annual financial statements for relevant entities
- Prepare BAS Returns for assigned business entities in multiple jurisdictions
- Assist with the annual budget for assigned business entities
- Preparation of acquisition analysis reports and business cases for potential property acquisitions
- Assist with treasury for relevant entities
- Prepare reports as may be required by senior management
- Assist the broader finance team where necessary
Your Profile
- CA/CPA qualified or working towards completed the qualification ideally coming from a Big 4/ Mid Tier environment.
- Strong business partnering skills and being able to work and communicate effectively with different stakeholders.
- Experience working with a range of ERP systems and Power BI knowledge would be beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer service ethic.
