About the role
We have an opportunity for a Management Accountant to be part of our People and Capability Command Finance team. The Management Accountant provides high quality analysis and evaluation of financial performance to facilitate informed management decisions, and to support Commands on finance, budgeting controls, purchasing, asset accounting and contract management.
This position is based at Sydney Olympic Park located in a modern office building with state-of-the-art facilities surrounded by various sporting, entertainment, retail, and public green spaces. Public transport is located within 50 metres, various public car parks are available within walking proximity.
Applicants must hold a current driver’s licence with no traffic offences recorded on their driving history within the last six (6) months or NSW Police Force Bronze Certification.

Provide examples demonstrating your skills and experience in management accounting, in particular budgeting, forecasting, analysis and reporting in a large and complex organisation and provide examples of any significant work undertaken. This role supports many business units and requires superior customer service skills. Demonstrate your experience in working in a high-volume environment providing quality customer service, and your capacity to manage competing demands and priorities.
Target Question 2:
Provide an example of how your stakeholder partnership skills enabled you to effectively communicate and present data to stakeholders with a limited financial background using your well-developed computer system skills.
