Full time, continuing appointment Professional Level 9 Salary $119,610 to $126,324 Plus 17% superannuation and 6 weeks annual leave Casuarina Campus Make a difference with your accounting career, develop budgets and help manage financial performance at CDU About the Position As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for the development of University budgets and business partnering with the leadership teams to achieve financial objectives. Driving financial performance management by data-driven reporting beyond financials, and the use of business analytics to produce targeted business information you will help influence the leadership team and improve financial outcomes. You will provide management accounting services including but not limited to, financial advice, performance and feasibility analysis, business modelling, product costing, systems development, and acquittals. About You To be successful, you will require: Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent accounting qualification Proven experience in Management Accountant roles in large and complex organizations. Extensive experience in budget development, financial reporting and demonstrated ability to communicate financial information and engage with clients in an operational context. Extensive experience in the development of data-driven financial reports with intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skill level proficiency. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated with strong performance orientation. Demonstrated ability to use initiative, creativity and innovation in work practices and the ability to work with others in a team environment. Remuneration Appointment to this role will be at Professional level 9. The base salary will be in the range of $119,610 to $126,324 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $139,943 to $147,799 per annum, including 17% superannuation. What’s in it for you?
