Management Consultant - Business and Systems Development - Aviation Charter Company

We are looking for a highly motivated and analytical Management Consultant with experience in the aviation industry to assist with Business and Systems Development to join our team. 

You will play a key role in growing the business, while helping us achieve greater efficiency and solve organisational problems.

Company Overview:

BLESK Aviation, an established Aviation Charter company, is seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team. Founded in 2020, our company owns and operates a fleet of four helicopters. With a focus on local and international growth, we are looking for a candidate who can contribute to our expansion plans and excel in a dynamic and highly technical environment.

Role Description:

You will play a crucial role in assisting our organization to achieve greater efficiency, solve organizational challenges, and drive business development efforts. You will utilize your expertise to drive organizational efficiency, you will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating existing systems, developing proposals for improvements, and ensuring the successful implementation of new processes and technologies. You will actively contribute to business development initiatives, identifying opportunities, and establishing strategic partnerships to expand our market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, working collaboratively with stakeholders to identify their business needs, and  formulate and document business requirements.

• Analyze and evaluate business processes, procedures, and work practices to identify areas for improvement.

• Identify inefficiencies and recommend optimal business practices and system functionality to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including cost and resource management, using project management methodologies.

• Deploy functional solutions, ensuring system quality and integrity, while aligning with business objectives.

• Develop clear system specifications using data and process modelling techniques to support system development and customization.

• Act as a central reference and provide guidance throughout the decision-making process.

• Drive business development efforts by identifying new opportunities, conducting market research, and developing strategies to expand our customer base.

• Leverage industry knowledge and relationships to proactively identify and pursue new business prospects.

• Participate in business meetings, presentations, and negotiations to promote our services and secure new partnerships.

• Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.

Requirements:

These requirements are essential for the successful candidate to excel in the role and contribute effectively to BLESK Aviation's growth and development.

• Flight Crew License: Valid flight crew license in Australia and the EU or US

• Language Proficiency: Proficient in English, and a European language such as French or Spanish, to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders.

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific, finance, or business field preferred.

• Business Management: Extensive experience in business management within an international context, overseeing operations, strategic planning, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Business Development: Proven track record in driving business development initiatives within a highly technical environment, identifying opportunities, and establishing partnerships to expand market presence.

• Client Management working with High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI) and B2B Portfolio Management: Successful experience in managing and developing a portfolio of High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI) and B2B clients in multilingual environments, with a focus on maintaining strong relationships and delivering exceptional service.

• Partnerships Development: Demonstrated ability to identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, fostering collaboration and creating mutually beneficial opportunities.

• Information Systems Implementation and Management: Proficient in implementing and managing information systems, with technical and analytical skills to troubleshoot and optimize system performance.

• CRM Information Systems: Experience in implementing and managing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) information systems, utilizing technical and analytical skills to enhance customer engagement and support business growth.

Conditions of Employment:

  • Ideal commencement date: June 2024;
  • Location: Brisbane area, with a mix of office and remote work required;
  • Salary Range: $80,000 to $100,000, depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications. 
  • Commission Structure: In addition to the guaranteed salary, the successful candidate may be offered a “Draw Against Commission”, providing an opportunity for additional earnings based on performance and business development success.
