About the Role
This role will lead a team delivering tactical and strategic people (HR) services including Business Partnering and Complex People Matters. The role is supported by a broad range of Centres of Excellence, HR Advisory Services, Borderless Recruitment and Occupational Wellbeing and Safety. Human Resources Branch is currently undergoing a HR transformation journey with a focus on ensuring our services support the Department of Education's Equity and Excellence strategy. You will have the opportunity to lead a team through the implementation of this change.
Work with the Director, HR Business Partnering, as part of the locally based senior HR team, to drive the HR agenda of the business.
You will have responsibility for, but not be limited to:
* Develop strong partnerships with leaders and customers to provide tailored advice, best practice people management and consultancy services.
* Lead customer service delivery and strategic objectives in an era of digital transformation and change.
* Playing a critical role in the organisation in developing an engaged, empowered and flexible workforce with the agility to readily respond to changing imperatives.
* Providing workforce reporting and analytic insights.
