Salary - $133, 459 pa + Superannuation + Annual Leave Loading
Your Role
Join an organisation with a rich history, we are currently seeking an experienced Manager that is a logical and strategic thinker with robust people and business management experience. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the activities of the Business Unit/s to ensure productivity, efficiency and other commercial objectives are achieved. As part of this role, you will need to maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, assist with business development and encourage awareness of CSI capability.
As part of this role, you will need to maintain strong relationships between senior managers across Department of Communities & Justice and external stakeholders.
The role requires:
- Supervision and management of staff and inmates
- Strong time management and computer skills
- Experience working in a high-pressure environment and managing to deliver key business objectives within set timeframes
- Willingness to work across all trade units as required
- Maintaining safety requirements and ensuring customer needs are met
As a standout candidate you will have:
- Knowledge of Business Management Systems and Quality Management Systems (eg Pronto, SAP, QMS)
- Current Certificate III in Correctional Practice or capacity to complete Certificate III in Correctional Practice in accordance with specified CSNSW timeframes
- Relevant trade or tertiary qualifications (minimum Certificate III level) in the following: Management, Printing, Engineering Mechanical, Metal fabrication, Building, or food related trades and managerial experience in these trades
- Experience which demonstrates the ability to meet the key accountabilities and focus capabilities as detailed in the role description
- Current NSW Driver Licence and preparedness to drive a vehicle while performing the role
- Must have proven experience in project management
- Relevant trade or tertiary qualifications (minimum Certificate III level) in the following: Printing, Engineering Mechanical, Metal fabrication, Building, or food related trades and managerial experience in these trades
- Forklift licence desired, but not essential.
