Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our tenant base within the SDA space. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in attracting new tenants, building strategic partnerships, and positioning Vertika as a leading provider of accommodation services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to attract prospective tenants, targeting individuals with disabilities, their families, disability support organisations, and NDIS providers.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders to generate tenant referrals and establish Vertika as a trusted accommodation provider.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns and promotional materials.
- Conduct property tours and open days to showcase Vertika offerings.
- Screen enquiries and assess viability for tenancy.
- Foster relationships with key industry influencers and stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for prospective tenants, addressing queries and guiding them through enrolment.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
- Execute and represent Vertika at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to increase visibility and establish thought leadership.
- Identify areas for improvement and working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to enhance tenant experience.
- Stay informed about policy changes and developments within the sector.
About you:
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of the SDA framework, NDIS, and associated regulations
- Proven track record in Business Development, preferably within the disability support services or SDA industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or a related field (desirable)
- Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret market data to drive strategy
- Self-motivated, goal-orientated, and able to work autonomously and as a part of a team
- Ability to prioritise and manage workloads within tight time frames.
