Manager Corporate Operations
* Salary: $130,673 - $174,869 (Plus Superannuation)
* Ongoing role
* Usual hours of work: Full time (flexibility may be available)
* Usual work location: Melbourne CBD (hybrid work options available)
The Role
The Manager Corporate Operations will lead a team of staff managing important corporate services for the Victorian Fisheries Authority (VFA) including management of VFA accommodation and fleet, supply and tracking of relevant business assets, management of procurement processes and supplier contracts, and the associated governance, financial management and administration.
The role reports to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and works closely with the COO and other executives to initiate and deliver relevant corporate initiatives and business improvements for the VFA.
The Manager Corporate Operations will work across the business and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
The Team
The VFA is a statutory authority established to facilitate the effective management of Victoria's fisheries resources in a coordinated and strategic way that ensures their ongoing sustainability. The VFA functions to ensure that the Government, the recreational and commercial fishing sectors, and the Victorian community can share in and obtain the benefits from sustainable fisheries management.
The VFA has around 190 employees located in the Melbourne CBD, metropolitan Melbourne and across regional Victoria.

* Excellent writing and communication skills
* Experience in successfully leading, planning, managing and delivering relevant projects and initiatives
* Demonstrated experience leading complex procurements and understanding of purchasing practices and procedures
* Understanding of principles and implementation of good governance, efficient business, financial management and corporate compliance
