The Role
The Town of Port Hedland is implementing a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution that will introduce generational change to business processes. This role is responsible for the successful delivery of the Core System Replacement Project. The project entails identifying and procuring an ERP solution to replace Synergy So? and transitioning the entire organisation to the new system. This includes team leadership and stakeholder management to guide the change through the organisation, all aspects of scope, schedule and budget management and vendor management. The Project Manager will report regularly to the Project Control Group which will provide executive level oversight and assistance to the project.
You will be joining the team at an exciting time as the Town continues on its journey of change, embracing a wide range of new technologies, a large capital works program, and a number of other projects that make the Town a desirable place to live and work.

Work Related Requirements
The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:
- Recognised project management qualification
- Experience in ERP implementation
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing Information technology implementation projects
- Experience in and commitment to effective change management and team leadership
- National Police Clearance
- Current 'C' class drivers license
- Rights to work in Australia
