Green Power Systems Manager to join the Decarb team
Key Responsibilities- Build and lead a team of Power Systems solutions experts who are able to advise and execute decarbonization projects both internally and for external metals/mining companies
- Work collaboratively with Fortescue Green Power Team to execute techno-economically feasible projects to reduce emissions, ensuring seamless delivery and continuity in operations
- Lead problem solving and solution design for balancing power supply to meet operational energy requirements, optimizing capital expenditures within large metals and mining assets
- Helping to build out the service and commercial offering in Green Power Systems for green transitions on behalf of Fortescue - including helping to develop and maintain external client relationships
- Build expertise in economics/funding options for world-class Green Power Systems in renewable powered operations - across industries
Qualifications and Experience- 4+ years working in Sustainability or Decarbonization, particularly related to renewable power and emissions reduction
- 2+ year's experience leading teams and managing direct reports to deliver decarbonization projects
- Robust understanding of renewable Power Systems and related commercial models
- Graduate Degree qualified in relevant area of Engineering, Renewables, Energy Management
- Provide coaching and mentoring
- Ability to foster positive relationships across a range of areas both internally and externally
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast pace environment
