About the role Fundamental to this role is the provision of vision, leadership and governance of the City’s ICT strategy and infrastructure. As Manager, you will be responsible for developing ICT strategies that enable the organisation to achieve strategic and operational goals; while also driving the City’s ICT capabilities to maximise operational effectiveness. Leading a team of coordinators specialising in areas including geospatial and business intelligence, ICT risk and compliance, and ICT projects, you will oversee the provision and maintenance of the City’s CCTV network; establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders and suppliers; and lead and support collaboration with other organisation’s to further the City’s knowledge bank and ICT capability. Our ideal candidate Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field Minimum five years’ experience in a similar management role Extensive knowledge and experience in the application and development of industry standard communication software, web software and relational databases including GIS interface Experience developing and implementing IT systems Demonstrated project management skills Ability to align technology with strategic objectives, business needs and budgets Knowledge and experience in the administration of corporate systems, databases, communication applications and office equipment Superior communication, time management and leadership skills Salary and BenefitsWe’re able to offer a great package:• A competitive salary.• Vehicle (in accordance with the City’s policy).• Salary Sacrifice Options.• Flexible rostered days off and 22 days Annual Leave.• Onsite crèche and rebated childcare* (conditions apply).• Relocation assistance and a range of other benefits included in the City’s Enterprise Agreement will be discussed with the successful candidate.
