About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Director Economy, Growth and Infrastructure, the Manager Operations and Parks will play an integral role in maintaining our wonderful parks and gardens, the management and maintenance of the extensive Mitchell Shire road network, as well as providing advice and support to our Executive team and wider organisation. Managing a number of teams, you will provide expert advice and leadership across the entire Council ensuring we maximise key opportunities for growth, maintain our key assets and managing risks and liabilities.
This role is a temporary, full-time opportunity. The total remuneration package begins at $160K, dependant on experience which includes superannuation and the option of a private use vehicle.

You will be strategic, visionary and committed to help us achieve the targets outlined in the Council Plan. You will be an excellent leader, an active communicator, passionate about delivering services and have a proven ability to work across multidisciplinary teams in diverse organisations. Importantly, you will lead by example and be committed to developing the teams you lead and creating a great workplace culture. Your leadership and effectiveness will be informed by a combination of technical qualifications, proven on the job experience and a commitment to continued professional development.
