The Manager, People & Culture is a key business partner to the Qantas Cabin Crew business unit. This position leads and drives the People plan, initiatives, programs and procedures. This role has joint responsibility with business leaders to ensure the growth, development and engagement of all staff.
The Manager, People & Culture will be based in Sydney Mascot Campus supporting the Domestic Cabin Crew business with a portfolio of approximately 2,000 operational employees employed across five domestic bases. This role will be responsible in driving and implementing the Cabin Crew People Plan and partnering and collaborating with the leadership team across Domestic Cabin Crew, advising and coaching our leaders in the interpretation and application of HR policy, relevant employment legislation, enterprise agreement(s) and best practice HR principles and processes to drive a positive and engaged crew culture.
You will have:
10 years relevant professional experience
Tertiary qualification in HR/Business related degree or equivalent experience required.
Demonstrated ability to strategically partner with business in large organisation
Proven ability managing change and building organisational capability
Strong stakeholder management ability
Resilience and ability to be flexible and adaptable in complex environments
Proven interpersonal and relationship development skills
Delivery focused engaging right stakeholders at right time
Strong verbal, written and presentation skills with an ability to communicate in both technical and business language
Driven to succeed, self-motivated and able to work independently with limited direction or guidance
