An established investment house focused on providing private financing and strategic investment into WA's real estate sector.
The opportunity
As Manager you will work closely with the Director's to successfully originate and manage deals through to repayment. You will play an integral role as part of the lending team and lead interactions with the firms investment committee.
This is a full-time position based in the firm's newly refurbished Perth head office.
Key activities include:
Origination:
- Attending meetings with potential Borrowers and Brokers
- Managing the entire transaction from origination through to settlement including structuring and determining the appropriate pricing etc.
Asset Management:
- Maintaining workbook models and being across the contractual requirements
- Managing loans throughout the project lifecycle and raising any concerns
- Conducting site visits and attending project control group meetings.
Internal Reporting:
- Drafting quarterly updates to Investors
- Maintaining the risk matrix for projects
Relationship Management:
- Foster long-term relationships which benefit from our accessibility, responsiveness, and personable natures.
About you
To be successful you will have:
- Bachelor's degree in related field: Commerce, Property, Development, Valuations & Finance
- Min. 3 years' experience working in similar role within a financial institution i.e. property or credit team
- Must have a strong knowledge of the property sector and a keen interest in this asset class
- An ability to identify and mitigate risks with problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail, organised and diligent.
