Your part in our vision and success of the department will see you lead by example, and model QFES values and behaviour’s in delivering the responsibilities of your role, will include, but is not limited to:
- Lead and manage the design, development and implementation of best practice Community Engagement approaches, frameworks and guidelines based on a service delivery model of current and contemporary outcomes.
- Provide high-level advice to key stakeholders relating to Community Engagement and education programs and campaigns to support place-based delivery within the region, and ensure approaches are aligned with state and regional priorities.
- Identify, analyse and resolve complex issues using agile principles and initiate ongoing improvement strategies and service delivery functions to meet organisational objectives.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives to enhance community resilience and engagement programs.
- Represent the collective of RCECs and regional and local perspectives at the state level of collaboration (meetings, forums, workshops) to ensure messaging is consistent, targeted and appropriate to achieve positive outcomes.
- Prepare high-level departmental reports, submissions, budgets and other correspondence on a range of complex and confidential issues relating to Community Engagement, in accordance with departmental requirements and governance.
- Manage and oversee the functions of regional based RCECS, fostering positive teamwork and building capability through coaching others, providing performance feedback, conflict resolution and encouraging career development.
