As the Manager, you will play a key role in the Strategic Engagement Branch in the leading the project delivery, reporting and implementation of the Department's Youth Reform package.

Your Opportunity
- Leading program operations and management to ensure timely delivery of project outcomes including resource allocations, management of staff and resources, formulation of policy initiatives and development of corporate strategies associated with the role
- Establish and maintain strong engagement and communication with diverse stakeholder groups within, across and external to the Department
- Establish and maintain strong governance practices including identifying, monitoring and reporting on risk, providing high-level strategic advice in accordance with policies and procedures, leading project planning and reporting on project implementation and outcomes
- Preparing advice, submissions and reports to executive decision-making forums and Cabinet to inform robust decision making.
You will report to the Executive Director, Youth Reform, Strategic Engagement.
About the Role:
The Manager, Strategic Engagement will provide high-level management and oversight of program operations to support the Executive Directors and Assistant Director-General. The role requires an ability to lead and manage across all areas of operations, to deliver program outcomes with excellence in client service delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Development, review and implementation of evaluation frameworks to monitor and report on program outcomes.
- Develop and deliver high level communications including reports, briefing materials and project plans for senior executives.
- Provide authoritative and evidence-based advice and direction to senior leaderships to inform program outcomes.
- Design systems, processes and solutions to support project implementation.
- Ensure that the reputation and interests of the department are maintained and strong governance practices are applied across program areas.
- Proactively develop, analyse and monitor plans, performance outcomes and risks at program level, including in implementation to inform quality practice and improvement.
