In this role, you'll:
Be joining the Planning and Programs branch which is part of our Regional Outer Metropolitan division. Your new role sits with our Planning South team and will see you playing a pivotal role in the effective and efficient delivery of a range of Transport Planning projects. You will be part of a geographically dispersed team whose home base is situated in our Wollongong office, where there is an expectation to meet with your new team and the broader project team two days per week (ideally). You'll embrace the chance to work across a diverse range of projects with a close-knit team in a flexible and supportive work environment. You will foster collaboration across the community, industry, and all levels of government to achieve NSW government objectives. Working across multi-disciplinary, matrixed teams delivering place-based planning within a specific geographic area is just part of the scope of this role. You will also lead the rigorous project planning and reporting to ensure accurate progress updates, risks and issues are communicated with all relevant stakeholders. You will drive collaboration with specialist teams within the matrix branch structure and across TfNSW divisions to ensure the best possible planning outcomes.

About you
Drawing on your strong project management skills, you will have significant experience in Transport Planning and have a proven track record in the planning and development of place-based multi-modal solutions. You’re an exceptional communicator, able to build strong working relationships that allow you to drive delivery improvements as we continue to enhance the way we operate.
You have experience managing complex Transport and/or Infrastructure planning projects and initiatives that balance customer needs and business objectives. You will be well versed in the design of transport plans and generating in-depth analysis to make significant improvements to our network and are motivated by the positive impact you’ll have on regional NSW and communities as a whole!
