Managing Barista

We own and operate 5 cafe/bakeries in inner Brisbane, offering high quality breakfast and lunch, specialty coffee and attentive service. This is an opportunity ton join our dynamically growing business with plenty of scope for promotion.

You will be responsible leading the front of house team, ensuring the best customer experience for our patrons, following our systems and procedures, and serving speciality coffee to the highest standard.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a barista/head barista in a fast-paced café in Australia.
• Strong Barista skills, understanding of coffee brewing techniques and latte art
• Strong work ethic, reliable and honest, with great people skills.
• Great communication skills
• Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring all systems and policies are followed by all FoH staff.
• Hire and train all FoH staff
• Manage schedule of all FoH staff according to budget
• Strong understanding of and achieving KPIs 
• Must be available weekends
• Must be available over Christmas period (not including Christmas or New Year's day).
• Maintain company culture, with good relationships within the team, with the ownership, and with teams of other shops. 
• Communicate effectively with owners
