The Manufacturing Business/Data Analyst is primarily responsible for the collection of data from internal and external sources and for translating the data into meaningful information. This individual will also be responsible for presenting the information collected in a way that will assist members of the organization to make better business decisions. Additional responsibilities will include supporting functions in finance & accounting, planning and procurement.
Essential Functions:
- Use Tableau program or similar software on a regular basis, to analyze raw data and put into meaningful information
- Source data from Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains) and internal production systems
- Deliver insights on potential areas of growth, optimization, and improvements to leverage technology and data analytics
- Prepare presentations to share data findings
- Build and maintain dashboards and other reporting tools to track internal and external data
- Work cross-departmentally on strategies to improve business processes
- Collaborating with leaders across departments on a business-wide scale to support decision-making
- Supporting certain departments in daily functions and exploring way to improve processes with data collection and analytics.

Experience:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in Business/Data Analytics and/or Information Systems
- Experience in manufacturing strongly preferred, Paper industry experience is ideal
Commitment: Expectation is this role will require 40-50 hours per week
