About the role:
We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Equipment Manager to join our team for our Frame and Truss business based in Brisbane. The role is centred around providing equipment and service deliverables that enable our Frame and Truss facilities to maximise their output through innovative continuous improvement and selection of appropriate equipment.
What's involved:
The Manufacturing Equipment Manager is responsible for the ongoing daily equipment maintenance and servicing, breakdown support and budget forecasting of all Frame and Truss facilities. There is a focus on manufacturing efficiencies and effectiveness with a strong focus on team and working environment safety.
You'll need:
- A qualification/certification in robotics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or similar with practical work experience recently with automation and automated systems
- Ideally you bring with you demonstrated experience in operations within a highly automated facility or a high speed manufacturing environment
- Experience leading a team and teaching/guiding others will help you succeed in this role
- Experience using House of Design – SAM software and Robot Studio is highly desirable
- You are a system problem solver, have the ability to manage priorities in a fast paced environment and have a strong focus on safety
