The Role
Our MinRes Marine Technical team is expanding and seeking a Marine Maintenance Administrator to assist with our planning and execution of efficient purchasing process.
You will play an integral role ensuring relevant deadlines are met, whilst maintaining strong relationships with external suppliers on behalf of MinRes Marine Transshipment Operation.
This position will report directly to the Marine Maintenance Planner and be based at our HQ office on Osborne Park. You will have the ability to join a great technical Marine team and the opportunity to further develop your career pathway.
Key deliverables
- Generate purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure all purchase orders are assigned correct cost and project codes.
- Maintain a register of technical supply items and ensure long lead items are delivered as required.
- Monitor HELM (electronic preventative maintenance system) spares inventory.
- Assist in cost control and efficient delivery processes.
- Coordinating accurate warehousing of parts and inventory
What you’ll bring to the team
- Business or procurement qualifications is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 Years experience in a purchasing officer role
- Experience in arranging inbound and outbound freight and inventory management.
- Knowledge/ training in procurement and/ or preventative maintenance systems
- Strong data and organisational skills
- Great attention to detail and be confident to be in the detail.
- A proactive approach with outstanding interpersonal communication skills
- Advance Microsoft Excel skills
