Form of workDue to the growth in business, Broome Boat Shop are now hiring another Marine Mechanic. Broome Boat Shop is a reputable business with a modern workshop and the majority of special Yamaha tools which make servicing more efficient. Factory Yamaha training will be provided after a qualifying period. Although we are not limited to just Yamaha engines, we service most brands of Outboards, as well as Yamaha Jet skis and Yamaha generators. We are a family owned business that values its employees. If you want to help us, we can certainly offer you a good secure career. You will make up the team of 5 players. Some onsite work is required, so normal flexibility will be required to form part of a small team.
Broome is a great place to live and work, assistance with relocation to Broome for the right applicant may be offered.
Commencement date will be ASAP.

Qualified Marine technicians are preferred, but all applicants will be considered.
Duties & responsibilities will include
- General maintenance and servicing of mainly trailer boats and motors
- Fit ups of new Yamaha motors and repowers
- Fit ups of New Quintrex boats
- Water testing
- Electrical fitting and wiring of Sounders, Bilge pumps, Lights etc.
- Plumbing of live Bait Tanks
- Some Trailer repair work
