ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking passionate and suitably experienced Coxswains (Seafarers) to join our Maritime Safety Training team. We are currently recruiting for persons to deliver Lifeboat Training and Fast Rescue Boat Training, so if you are a passionate Trainer looking to further develop your career, then we would love to hear from you.
The Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) stipulate Trainer & Assessor qualifications required to deliver this training, therefore the suitable applicant will require at least one of the below qualifications:
- Chief integrated rating (STCW Reg II/5 and III/5)
- Integrated rating (STCW Reg II/5 and III/5)
- Able seafarer—deck (STCW Reg II/5)
- Able seafarer—engine (STCW Reg III/5)
- An appropriately qualified and experienced Australian Defence Force personnel or equivalent.
In addition the candidate will require the two below qualifications, however should you not hold these, but meet the AMSA requirements above, we would still like to discuss employment opportunities with ERGT.
- Cert IV TAE 40116
- Coxswains Grade 1 NC minimum
