About the role
This entry-level role will be embedded within a major WA client, working alongside existing AlignAlytics consultants to manage and further develop their customer data and use it with a newly installed marketing automation platform.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Sourcing, restructuring, manipulating and modelling data to support decisions around clients' strategic and commercial issues (mostly in Marketing and Sales).
- Supporting client understanding of analytical insight through creative presentation of data visualisations.
- Undertaking ongoing analytical services for clients, working in their offices and using their systems.
- Delivering efficient support, both to client-facing AlignAlytics staff and to clients directly.
- Ensuring all data management and processing is undertaken in adherence with AlignAlytics policies.
The ability to take initiative and work as part of our small but highly motivated team will ensure satisfaction. You will be largely based in our client’s CBD office, as well as AlignAlytics office in West Perth, with some hybrid work possible.

Skills and experience
With at least a year of experience working with data, you will be a key part of our team, driving growth for the AlignAlytics business in Perth. Your flexibility, creativity and an ability to think with new perspectives is key to delivering results.
- Excellent problem-solving skill including flexibility, creativity and an ability to think with new perspectives.
- Strong technical skills in Microsoft Excel and SQL as well as a keen interest in the business issues being addressed.
- The ability to work independently and manage a complex and changing workload.
- Stakeholder management skills and the ability to work closely with clients and business users to understand and deliver to their requirements.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and approaches on the job with support from senior colleagues.
- Preferably a Bachelor of Commerce/Business, Actuarial Science, Mathematics or else a Bachelor of Information Systems/Computer Science.
- Any CRM experience (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics etc.) or BI experience (Business Objects, Power BI etc.) would be a bonus.
