Our Vacancy

Marketing and Business Development Coordinator plays a pivotal role in positioning SUEZ as a leader in circular economy, sustainability and supporting our communities. Through development of thought leadership, external communications and strategic proposals, the role will establish SUEZ's prominence as a water industry leader. 

The role will help SUEZ build our brand identity and foster strong relationships with our clients. Crafting compelling narratives, engaging with project teams to develop proposal strategies, and ensuring the highest quality communications and brand language, the Marketing and Business Development Coordinator reinforces SUEZ's commitment to the execution of our Australia & New Zealand region business strategy.

Your primary duties will include:

Client Intelligence:

  • Update and maintain content libraries to be comprehensive and current and ensure they capture the health of our client relationships. 
  • Support the delivery and evaluation of the annual Net Promoter Score survey and assist in interpreting responses and focusing client engagement accordingly. 

Content Library Management:

  • Build and maintain marketing, award, and tender submission collateral. 
  • Collaborate with project teams to capture noteworthy stories and interesting details to highlight SUEZ's capabilities and innovative solutions.
  • Build and maintain internal channels to access Business Development content.

Internal communications support:

  • Support planned and ad-hoc internal communications initiatives, ensuring alignment with ANZ Growth & Innovation and Marketing & Communication activities and objectives.
  • Assist in planning and help coordinate key staff to support and participate in key industry events.

Case studies management:

  • Update current case studies to demonstrate SUEZ’s capabilities and create new case studies to highlight our expertise and impact in the circular economy space.
  • Collaborate with project teams to capture key details and highlight SUEZ's innovative solutions.

Branding identity development:

  • Contribute to the development of a unified brand language, collaborating with internal teams to integrate brand language into various communication materials.
  • Support the development and maintenance of SUEZ's brand identity.

Channel content development:

  • Update and maintain company communication channels (i.e. website, Intranet etc.) 
  • Collaborate with the web development team to implement enhancements for an optimal user experience.

SUEZ ANZ strategy:

  • Contribute to the creation of a comprehensive company timeline highlighting key milestones and achievements in our company journey.
  • Support the roll-out of SUEZ ANZ’s strategy, creating assets for relevant distribution channels.

Thought leadership content development:

  • Research and produce thought leadership content to position SUEZ as custodians of our resources.
  • Write, edit, and distribute editorials and press releases that amplify SUEZ's impact in the circular economy space.

Opportunity Management:

  • Manage the forward pipeline, track leads, opportunities and outcomes with SUEZ CRM software. 
  • Collaborate with the market leads to prepare high-quality proposals, presentations, and EOI responses tailored to the needs of each opportunity. 

Award submissions:

  • Manage and edit award submissions to showcase SUEZ's achievements in people, projects, safety, sustainability, and circular economy innovation.
  • Ensure submission materials align with award criteria and effectively communicate our contributions.

Support of key client and employee engagement activities:

  • Collaborate with client-facing teams to develop communication materials for key client engagements.
  • Develop Capability Statements, white papers, newsletters, and brochures to support client engagement activities.

What you can bring to the team:

  • 5+ years experience in water industry, including its trends, challenges, and key stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or similar.
  • Proven experience in writing, editing, and proofreading.
  • Familiarity with communications, content creation, and project management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and meet tight deadlines.

  • Ability to think strategically and align initiatives with organisational goals.
  • Proven experience of bringing innovative ideas to communication campaigns and materials.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Customer-centric approach. 
  • Cultural sensitivity and awareness.
